I started barber school during the pandemic, which made the road longer but never changed where it was going. After getting licensed, I went back to that same school to teach the next generation of barbers. That's what led me to open Austin Barber Co.
No two heads are the same. I take the time to understand what you want and cut something that fits your hair, your face and your life. The goal is simple: you leave looking sharp, and you come back.

The quality of my skin fade is consistently excellent, and I'm in and out in no time. Like hanging out with a friend who makes you look amazing.
My slick back is always on point, and I appreciate how quickly he gets it done without compromising quality. My go-to spot.

How long does a cut take?
Most cuts take about 30 minutes. A buzz cut is closer to 15, and a beard trim is 15 to 20.
Do I need an appointment?
Booking online is the surest way to get a time. Walk-ins are welcome whenever the shop is open and the chair is free. Check the open light on this page before you head over.
Where do I park, and which door is it?
We're inside Playas Barber Lounge, Suite 3131. Look for the glass door with the barber pole beside it and the Playas sign on the brick pillar, then find my chair by the Austin Barber Company crest.
What should I bring?
Just yourself. A photo of the cut you want helps a lot, especially on a first visit.
Do you cut kids' hair?
Yes. Kids cuts are for ages 5 and under and cost $40. Older kids book one of the regular cuts.
How do I pay?
Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Afterpay, at the shop after your cut. Tips are appreciated.
Do you do straight-razor shaves?
Yes. The face shave and the head shave are both done with a straight razor and take about 30 minutes.
Can I exchange a tee for a different size?
No. Every tee is printed to order, so sizes can't be exchanged. If yours arrives misprinted or with a defect, I'll replace it.
